How the math works

  1. Guest cost is the guest count times the per-guest fee.
  2. Add-ons are the sum of the selected add-on prices. An add-on that is off adds $0.00 even if its price box has a number.
  3. Extra hours are the hour count times the price per extra hour.
  4. Subtotal is the base fee plus guest cost plus add-ons plus extra hours plus the cleanup fee.
  5. Tax is the subtotal times the tax percent, divided by 100, rounded to the cent.
  6. Total is the subtotal plus tax.
  7. The deposit is the total times the deposit percent, divided by 100, rounded to the cent. Balance due is the total minus the deposit, so the deposit and the balance always equal the total shown.
  8. Per guest is the total divided by the guest count, rounded to the cent for display only.
